Turning the Tumblr Page Again

I have not really known how to effectively use tumblr. I set the account up and set it up to pull the feed from Laurel Plum Online per a suggestion I found somewhere and just forgot about it for a long time. You can peruse the original account. Maybe it will encourage you to stop by the site to participate.

Then I remembered that it was there and thought it would be a neat place to put all of the more random personal things I was always writing in draft form, but never published on the site because it did not fit the reference format I realize I have going. I have since set up Laurel’s Asides to serve that purpose.

I think I now have two effective ways to use tumblr more effectively.

First, I will use it to continue to add Sites To See in a less structured format than the weekly edition I was using on Laurel Plum Online that so messed up the search function on the site. So I will embed a tumblr feed on the site to share all of the wonderful things I find using an additional tumblr account. Interested? Take a peek and watch it develop. Second is another suggestion I recently found. It is a way of saving all of the sweet (or constructive) comments I have found around the net about me or my sites in one place. There are not many, but I can see several advantages to having them localized. Yet another tumblr account. You can take a look at them, too. What People Are Saying About Laurel Plum Online.
